Welcome to the Near South Side

Chicago's Near South is a community reborn. It is home to thriving businesses, five historic districts, covers at least eight TIF Districts; and includes major Cultural and Educational institutions in the City of Chicago. Looking today at the area just south of the Loop, from Lake Michigan west to the Chicago River, you'll find a vibrant place where you can live, work, play, study, and shop.

With its location being proposed for the Near South Side, how will this “New Museum For Chicago” affect our community?  What types of services and programs will be offered for city residents and visitors?  What new developments are unfolding in 2016 in regard to the future of this proposed museum?  Join us as Don Bacigalupi reveals updated plans for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art
