Commissioner Mark Kelly
Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events
The City's website reads "The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) is dedicated to enriching Chicago's artistic vitality and cultural vibrancy. This includes "...providing a framework to guide the City's future cultural and economic growth..." This year, there's a new leader responsible for carrying out that mission.
Appointed to the post by Mayor Rahm Emanuel in July 2016, the new Commissioner, Mark Kelly, formerly the Vice President for Student Success at Columbia College Chicago, will regale our members with stories of his first four months in office and what he, and the City, have in store for the City's Cultural Scene moving forward. Join us in welcoming the new Commissioner for a wonderful breakfast program and fabulous member connections event.
Reservations are held at the door.
(Ticket prices online include a service fee.)
